Master Tigress Master Gryphon

I had the concept sketches for Master Gryphon for a while, but was too busy to do anything with them before I left for the summer. In the field season (summer) I am away from my tablet, but when 's contest rolled around I absolutely had to do something.
So this was done with traditional water colour pencils and my 5 year old camera...
I also took it as an excuse to draw my favorite Kung Fu Panda character Tigress (who is even more kick-butt awesome in the 2nd film XD ).
Master Gryphon has traveled up from the South to visit the Jade Palace, there she starts up a friendly sparring match with Master Tigress. Yep, this Kung Fu Panda gryphon is female.
Why is the background white you ask? Well...uh...they're fighting in a snow storm.
Oh you can bet this will be redone in digital media the first chance I get!
